What to put on wine labels

- Soak the original label off in warm soapy water for 20 minutes before applying yours.

Questions
What size is a wine bottle label?
Front labels on 750 ml bottles are usually around 3.5–4" wide by 3–4" tall. Avery 5164 (4" × 3⅓") fits most.
Can I use these labels to sell wine?
They are great for gifts and homemade wine. Commercial wine labels have legal content rules; in the US they need TTB approval.
How do I keep the label from getting wet in an ice bucket?
Print on waterproof polyester labels with a laser printer, or cover the label with clear packing tape.
